Alice Project 1

 

You now have the opportunity to put together pieces of Alice animation programming. 

Use your imagination.  Create an Alice world, with scene and program, that explains:

 

WhatÕs your gig AND are you living up to it?

 

Òyour gigÓ = your unique weave of purpose and talent that

motivates you to contribute to The Greater Good

 

Consider a paraphrase of Luke 12:48

      To whom much is given, of him much will be expected

 

Requirements:

 

1.  Drop your Alice file in the Camelot turn in box for your class before deadline.

            R1 4:35 pm January 25, 2012, Wednesday

            R2  4:35 pm January 19, 2012, Thursday

            R3  4:35 pm January 20, 2012, Friday

            R4  4:35 pm January 26, 2012, Thursday

 

2.  The total number of objects in object Tree must not exceed 12;

            that does include world, light, camera, ground. 

            Recall Alice programming encourages multiple objects.

 

3.  The animation can include more that one event. Usually one of the events is

            When the world starts call world.myFirstMethod

 

4. The animation must involve one wav sound file created by Audacity.

 

5.  The animation must execute both the If

            and the Else portions of an If/Else control structure.

 

6.  The animation must execute a Wait control structure.

 

7.  The animation must execute a Loop control structure.

 

8.  The animation must execute a Do-together control structure.

 

9.  The animation must appear positive and entertaining to the audience.

 

10.  The animation must not contain grammatical or spelling errors.
